Delete Your HeyDay Account
Closing your account is permanent. Here's exactly what that means, what happens to your data, and how to start.
What gets deleted
Your profile, including any photos and bio.
All relationship and gifting data — the people you've added and every preference, date, and detail attached to them
Your gift and order history
Messages and notes tied to your account
Notification and marketing preferences
What we keep, briefly
Some records stick around after deletion because the law requires it, not because we want them:
Transaction and billing records, kept for 7 years to comply with tax and financial recordkeeping law
Records tied to any fraud or support disputes on your account, kept for 6 years.
Aggregated, de-identified usage data that can't be traced back to you
Full detail lives in our Privacy Policy.
What happens after you submit
We confirm it's really you, by matching the request to the phone number on your account.
We process the request — typically within 30 days.
We delete everything listed above, including from backups, within 90 days of processing.
You get an email confirming its done.
Before you go
Active subscription? Canceling your subscription and deleting your account are two different things. Deleting your account doesn't automatically stop billing through the App Store or Google Play — cancel that separately first.
Shared something with another user? A gift you sent or a connection you made may still be visible to them, since it's part of their account too — not just yours.
